About Us

Our beloved Bayview Hotel was the third hotel in town in 1879, virtual directly across the road for rivals, Gladesville Hotel, constructed on land granted to John Doody. The present building was constructed throughout 1928 to 1934, as it was given an updated look and make way for the widening of Victoria Road.

The 70s was when The Bayview truly became an iconic pub, as it was the home of Sydney’s best live music. We saw Aussie rock legends take the stage including Cold Chisel, INXS, The Angels, Divinyls and Heaven.
